Ang, it is so nice! I wish I could order from you…maybe you should sell them on etsy! i am a terrible sewer, i can’t believe how quickly you picked it up, and all the stuff you bought! what i always want to know is after you sew the ‘x’ s on each square (where you made the ‘chain’, do you not have to knot the thread? doesn’t it? just unravel when you cut it? thanks! great job!
hey there,
you could back stitch it if you’re worried about it coming undone. But, I didn’t back stitch because those squares are sewn together and they’re getting stitched later…it’s hard to explain but once you make one? you’ll see
Thank You this is? a great project
Angie! this is so awesome! U know how hard? I’ve been looking on YouTube with concise instructions to make something like this!!! I’m so glad you made this!!!
Can u show me or viewers how to make a blanket quilt? I would really really want to learn that!!!
This is sooooo cute…wish I? had a sewing machine
cute cute? cute!!!
I still back stitch. Since it is a bag it never hurts to reinforce it
Also, you had cute scallop edges and you cut? them in 2. Why not cut between the scallops?
Cute!? I love this!
I also like your pink ribbon pin cushion!
Wow, Angie! With all that you have going on right now in your life, I am blown away by the fact that you could put together a video tutorial! Now I have to find that sewing machine ( maybe in the unfinished part of the basement or maybe it’s in the closet under the stairs?) to make a darling little rag quilt purse! I even purchased the fabric already.
Your directions fantastic…even for me not having sewed since Home Ec in HS. Thanks for enabling..er EMPOWERING me! Jan?
Angie what a long way you’ve come since your first video, it has been fun learning from you. You are a great inspiration? whether you are working with paper or fabric! I am looking forward to your next projects, as always.
wow thats sooo cute!?
If you use Craft Fuse Stabilizer behind your quilt blocks your back would be? stiffer.
What a clever idea and such a cute bag… I’m? definitely going to try this someday! Thank you so much for the detailed video, love it!
Thanks for the clear instructions! I sound it easier to pin the handles and closing strap before sewing up the sides. Also, for the handles, after ironing the fabric in half, I put the batting up against the crease and folded it over the batting and ironed it down. Then I tucked? in the other side and ironed it down, so the 2 creases match.
I just wondered what kinda of fabric is used with this bag, does it frey attall? I would love to make some large cushions in? this rag style
There are so many ideas you can use this technique on. ? Maybe think about making a laptop sleeve?
Good idea, thank you !! look,so easy to do…. ^.^?
do? u have to do the X stitching
Great? video, thank you to share it with us!
i love the video it? is so amazing
