ydstoti.com Hiking, a waterfall, birdwatching & duck “fighting” were a great way to start a spring day at Spring Mill State Park. The 1930′s era limestone lodge is decorated with handmade wooden rocking chairs & comfy handmade quilts. We were a little late getting to dinner & they had the grill turned off. But they gladly fired up the grill to make me a patty melt, which was delicious! Bird books are strategically placed along the dining room windsills to help identify the myriad of birds feeding outside. While we only had time to enjoy a small portion of what there is to offer, we look forward to returning soon! Y’dstoti!
